A leading services company located in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Personnel / Helper with at least 2 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. The role involves inspecting mechanical and electrical equipment, preparing materials for minor works, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Candidates should have a minimum academic qualification of SPM and good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Benefits include medical and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

- Proficient in minor repairs and servicing for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment.
Responsabilités
- Inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment daily.
- Record and report faults and deficiencies.
- Prepare materials and pull cabling for minor electrical works.
- Maintain a tidy work environment and perform repairs as needed.

Electrical Maintenance Personnel / Helper
Qualifications
- Minimum academic qualification: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) & professional certificate.
- Diploma/Certification in Mechanical, Electrical (MLVK/Wireman PW4/Chargeman AO/A1), or a related technical field would be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
- Able to work independently or under minimal supervision.
- Good written and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Able to think creatively.
Responsibilities
- Inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment on a daily basis.
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and any other unusual occurrences.
- Able to prepare/plan materials and pull cabling for minor electrical works.
- Upkeep maintenance and store room to ensure a tidy work environment.
- Proficient in minor repairs and servicing for HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Basic IT skills with the ability to transfer written checklists into software databases (Microsoft Excel/Word).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment such as welding machines, lathe machines, welding rotators, rolling machines, hydraulic‑operated machinery, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
- Perform any other duties at the workshop or site as assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Maintain and supervise air compressor operations to ensure smooth running.
- Ensure all lights, tools, and equipment in working areas, offices, and guest corridors are in good working condition.
- Familiar with fire procedures, emergency units, and safety procedures.
