Electrical Maintenance Personnel / Helper
Qualifications
  • Minimum academic qualification: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) & professional certificate.
  • Diploma/Certification in Mechanical, Electrical (MLVK/Wireman PW4/Chargeman AO/A1), or a related technical field would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
  • Able to work independently or under minimal supervision.
  • Good written and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to think creatively.
Responsibilities
  • Inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment on a daily basis.
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and any other unusual occurrences.
  • Able to prepare/plan materials and pull cabling for minor electrical works.
  • Upkeep maintenance and store room to ensure a tidy work environment.
  • Proficient in minor repairs and servicing for HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Basic IT skills with the ability to transfer written checklists into software databases (Microsoft Excel/Word).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment such as welding machines, lathe machines, welding rotators, rolling machines, hydraulic‑operated machinery, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
  • Perform any other duties at the workshop or site as assigned by the superior from time to time.
  • Maintain and supervise air compressor operations to ensure smooth running.
  • Ensure all lights, tools, and equipment in working areas, offices, and guest corridors are in good working condition.
  • Familiar with fire procedures, emergency units, and safety procedures.
