The successful candidate must be a registered Professional Engineer (Ir.) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), demonstrating a profound technical background and extensive experience in managing green technologies projects, particularly within civil engineering development infrastructure. This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership, a proven track record in project execution, and the capability to drive operational excellence across our project portfolio in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

Job Description

• Develop and implement strategic plans for project management, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project milestones and objectives effectively.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance meets or exceeds established targets.
• Conduct regular reviews of project profitability, cash flow, and financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize returns.
• Ensure all necessary authority approvals are obtained, maintaining strong relationships with relevant government ministries and agencies.
• Establish and enforce quality standards across all projects.
• Identify, address, and resolve project-related defects and issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and safeguard the company’s reputation.
• Foster continuous improvement by benchmarking best practices in property development and integrating them into company processes.
• Drive the adoption of digital tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and streamline project management workflows.
• Ensure the professional development of project management staff through mentoring, coaching, and training initiatives.
• Maintain a high level of stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication and alignment between all internal and external parties.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by the senior management to support the overall objectives of the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Civil, Mechanical from a recognized university.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (Ir.) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership or General Manager role overseeing significant engineering projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale, complex engineering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written & spoken). “We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.”
• Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (CMS) with a preference for certified professionals.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale property development projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with standards and regulatory requirements in property development.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and digital tools.
