Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and operate the fab floor, primarily responsible for resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift roles working a compressed schedule of 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform, and teach others to perform, preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages from factory systems and/or equipment.
- Perform, and teach others to perform, visual inspections (quality checks).
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
- Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development.
- Work effectively as part of a team, train new team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
