EQUIPMENT ENGINEER (PROCESS IMPROVEMENT )
Job summary
An international recruitment firm is seeking an Equipment Engineer for their client in Johor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards. Key responsibilities include evaluating and designing equipment for motor production and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering and extensive experience in process integration and equipment design, with a strong understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering with focus on process integration.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with standards.
- Evaluate, select, and design manufacturing equipment considering motor production requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes.

- Process Integration and Optimization: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and optimize manufacturing processes, alignment with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Implement best practices and methodologies
to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability.
Equipment Selection and Design: Evaluate, select, and design manufacturing equipment and
tooling, taking into consideration specific requirements related to motor production. - Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure the chosen equipment meets industry standards and
production needs. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement
across manufacturing processes, equipment efficiency, and environmental performance.
Implement sustainable solutions that contribute to operational excellence
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
- Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a significant focus on process integration, equipment design, and motor-related
processes. - In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards, and experience implementing processes in accordance with these standards.
