Job description

An Account Assistant's job scope includes managing daily accounting tasks like processing invoices, managing accounts payable / receivable and reconciling bank statements. Also maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports and provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing and handling correspondence with clients and vendors. Other duties can include assisting with payroll and budget preparation helping with audits and tax filing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with day to day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial documents, such as invoices, expense reports and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor transactions for discrepancies.
  • Assist tax preparation and filing under the guidance from Chief Financial Officer.
  • Process and track payments, ensuring timely vendor and client transactions.
  • Help prepare financial reports and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial data and maintain data accuracy.
  • Managing dormant company accounts.
  • Dealing with company secretaries, external auditors, tax and customs agencies.
  • As a minutes taker for financial meeting.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of UBS System (Accounting)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with tax compliance and financial regulations.
WORKING HOUR/DAY

Working days (Office hour) Monday to Friday (09:00 am - 05:45pm)
