Role
The Day-To-Day Activities
Key Accountabilities.
Team Management
- KPI (Key Performance Index) setting for direct reports, monitor and periodic review to assure KPI met
- Overseeing the management of the IT security department, giving leadership to the team and developing staff
Budget
- Manage Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) budget
IT Security
- Responsible for developing and implementing U Mobile's Cyber Security plan.
- Devising strategies and implementing IT solutions to minimise the risk of cyber-attacks
- Responsible for planning and monitoring all activities related to IT security in UM, including establishing security policies, auditing their effectiveness, ensuring user compliance, and updating policies and systems regularly.
IT Risk And Policy Management
- Manage all activities related to IT risks, including Business Continuity Plans.
Partners And Vendors Management
- Manage and monitor KPIs to ensure IT partners' deliverables meet contract specifications and T&C.
Stakeholders Management
- Coordinate and maintain relationships across departments to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Timely Reporting and Analysis
- Report project status and escalate issues as needed.
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Report security posture and incidents quarterly for the Audit committee.
- Report all Cyber Security incidents.
About You
Job Requirements
- Degree in IT with at least 18 years of experience in a technical IT role.
- Digital leadership skills to empower and lead an IT team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing IT landscape and stay updated with new security technologies.
- Passion for technology and security.
- Strong analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and familiarity with Billing systems, CRM, and Telco Operations Systems.
- Knowledge of Financial Services Regulations.
