A plastics manufacturing company located in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Manager for their injection molding operations. The successful candidate will lead daily production activities, optimize output, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Qualifications

Job Description
- Lead and manage daily production operations for plastic injection molding and related assembly processes.
- Plan, schedule, and optimize production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Oversee machine utilization, mold changeovers, manpower planning, and shift performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, ensure minimal downtime, and drive process improvements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure product quality, compliance with standards (ISO/TS, customer requirements), and strong coordination with QA, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
- Train, coach, and develop production supervisors, leaders, and operators.
- Monitor KPI performance, generate reports, and support management decision-making.
- Maintain workplace safety, discipline, and continuous improvement culture on the shop floor
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tool & Die Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in rubber or plastic injection molding, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
