Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

1. Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations for production, machinery, processing and packaging, warehouse, logistics departments to ensure production output, product quality and on‑time shipping in order to achieve set targets.
2. Ensure that production line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning.
3. Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives.
4. Manage cost structures for manufacturing by keeping operational expenses within budget allowance and investigate cost‑reduction measures.
5. Coordinates with relevant departments to identify and implement solutions to problems and report current operational status to management.
6. Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed.
7. Develops or revise standard operational and working practices and observes employees to ensure continuous improvement on standard.
8. Ensure plant operation is complied with statutory and legal requirements.
9. Cooperates with the Sales Departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve customer complaints.
10. Coordinates with R&D to plan new design implementations.
11. Assist in developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long‑term goals.
12. Creates a safe and conducive working environment for employee and instils in employees the importance of manufacturing safe instrument.
13. Supervising, guiding, and delegating executives in their duties.
14. Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
15. Train and develop managers and staff and handling employee grievances.
16. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts, developing and implementing growth strategies.
17. Ensuring that the quality, environmental and safety management system conforms to the requirement of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001.
18. Management of Safety, 5S & ISO
    1. Follow all safety procedures & regulations and ensure safe work environment.
    2. Implement and participate actively in 5S activities for the Department & Organization.
    3. Support other key strategic 5S programs where necessary.
    4. Adhere to ISO standards compliance.
19. Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering or related fields
• At least 8 years working experience in manufacturing management experience with plant operations.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Good knowledge of different business functions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills and interpersonal sensitivity.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, decisiveness, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven skills in organizational, leadership and supervision skills.
