Manager I, Physical Security
Job Description:
The Manager I, Physical Security is responsible for overseeing multiple sites within the Physical Security environment. This role manages, but is not limited to, Security Audits, Controls, Compliance, Asset Protection, Financials, Vendor Management, Trainings, and Investigations. Additionally, they assist with Emergency Planning & Crisis Management.
- Recommend and suggest different protection strategies to secure all assets deployed onsite and for work-at-home (WAH) employees.
- Manage day-to-day physical security operations aligned with global standards, policies, and procedures.
- Expert in conducting investigations using various techniques and security technologies.
- Manage security technology across multiple sites, ensuring uptime of all security equipment through preventive maintenance.
- Develop training materials for end users aligned with standards, policies, procedures, and services.
- Assist the business in raising exceptions as required; conduct assessments to ensure risks are adequately addressed.
- Support project management for Physical Security project planning and execution.
- Ensure guards are adequately trained and meet quality standards specified in Security Policy, SOP, and contracts.
- Conduct Security Audits, Controls, and Compliance activities, ensuring proactive measures address various requirements (corporate, regulatory, client, and industry standards).
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; manage security and safety responses as part of Emergency Planning & Crisis Management.
- Ensure timely entry of incidents and reports into Perspective.
- Provide training and connections for security staff, floor wardens, security personnel, and new joiners.
- Conduct onsite and offsite physical security surveys and prepare risk assessment reports.
