Senior Electrical Engineer
Job summary
A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to perform engineering design, lead problem management, and coach junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have a recognized degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and good communication skills. The role may require occasional overseas travel for project meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Electrical System.
- Able to work independently and as a team with good interpersonal skills.
- Registered corporate member of IEM or Chartered Engineer is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering duties such as planning, engineering design, tender, testing and commissioning.
- Lead in the RCA for problem management to improve uptime availability.
- Identify trends in BMS/DCIM system data and alarm for reliability improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Performing engineering duties such as planning, engineering design, tender, testing and commissioning.
- Lead in the RCA for problem management to improve the uptime availability or productivity on critical equipment system.
- Identify the parameters to be in trend with BMS/DCIM system data and alarm trending focusing on data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the reliability/efficiency of the critical equipment/process.
- Liaise with clients, project managers and contractors.
- Coaching junior engineers
- Occassional overseas travel may be required to join customers' project meetings.
Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Electrical System.
- Able to work independently and as a team with good interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Registered corporate member of IEM or Chartered Engineer is preferred.
- Candidate with new building Data Centre Design is preferred.
