Job summary

A specialist construction company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee various Industrialised Building System (IBS) projects in Malaysia. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, ensure compliance with specifications, and coordinate communication among clients and project teams. Candidates should have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in construction is a plus.

Job description

The Company is currently having some ongoing Industrialised Building System (IBS) projects in various locations and is also in the verge of finalising a few new projects across Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Labuan and Johor. Currently, we have vacancies for Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and Construction Manager positions to be based in Head Office, Putrajaya, Johor, Perlis and other locations.

Responsibilities

• To manage multiple projects concurrently.
• To ensure jobs are carried out in accordance with required specifications, quality, safety standards and effect the optimum speed of construction.
• To plan, organise, lead, control and monitor the project teams to achieve the required objectives of the projects.
• To liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams and ensure excellent communication between all parties.
• To coordinate with designers and consultants to ensure conformance of structural and architectural design.
• To coordinate with mould fabricator on mould design and fabrication.
• To maintain good documentation and filing system for the projects.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Possesses good leadership and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with passion for details, resourceful and computer literate.
• Experience in Building Construction and/or Precast Construction Works shall be an added advantage.
