Precision Turning Machinist – CNC/Manual (6‑Month Contract)
Job summary
A leading manufacturer in the semiconductor industry in Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking a Turning Machinist responsible for operating manual and CNC turning machines to produce precision metal components. Key responsibilities include machine setup, quality inspections, and daily maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Machining or related field and 1-3 years of experience in turning operations. This is a fixed-term contract with potential for permanent employment based on performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in manual/CNC turning operations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong knowledge of machining parameters.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and CNC turning machines to produce metal components.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform daily machine checks and preventive maintenance.
