Job summary

A leading beverage manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to ensure smooth machine operations in packaging. Responsibilities include self-operating machines, conducting local quality analysis, and performing basic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum engineering diploma and at least one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the FMCG sector. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, and candidates must be flexible to work shifts.

Job description

To support packaging operations by ensuring machines run smoothly through assisting in repairs, supplying materials, operating and cleaning equipment, performing quality checks, executing reworks and changeovers, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Self-operating of the machines in designated area (i.e. Filler, Empty Bottle Inspection (EBI), Packer, Unpacker and etc).

Responsible for startup, shut down, Changeover (C/O), Clean-In-Place (CIP) and operational adjustments (including coordination activities with other departments).

Carry out basic operational capabilities for other machines/processes in the area.

Carry out basic maintenance within area i.e. Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL) and other basic activities.

Carry out all local quality analysis.

Understands and actively participates in problem solving using 5 Whys, Ishikawa and etc.

Tagging all abnormalities and carrying out basic repairs.

Complies to all process documentation requirements.

To identify and report deviations from standards (i.e. safety, quality, environmental and 5Ss).

Understands main utilities consumptions and control points.

Ensure finished products from each machine conform to requirements.

General housekeeping and upkeep of any machinery and working area as instructed.

Carry out production reworks on non-conformance products.

Carry out size/brand changes as per production requirements.

Flexible to move and operate other production machinery as instructed.

Serves as a Team leader in their absence and takes the responsibility.

Ensures the production and packaging of safe, high quality food product by adhering to quality standards, procedures and Carlsberg Operating Manual (COM) compliance, report when found any abnormalities.

Monitoring production processes, maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with quality control and food safety regulation.

Follow food safety compliance (e.g Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles) to prevent contamination and ensure food safety in product.

Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

3 Crew 3 Shift : 7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm / 11pm - 7am OR

3 Crew 2 Shift : 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am OR

4 Crew 3 Shift : 7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm / 11pm - 7am
