Job summary
A leading software development company in Malaysia is seeking qualified candidates for software development and support roles. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing software products, translating business needs into technical specifications, and ensuring software stability. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in IT or relevant fields and have knowledge in Shell scripting and various databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and support of application and platform software products and components.
- Translate business requirements into technical and system specifications.
- Design, develop, and test software and systems.
- Enhance and maintain software and systems to a healthy and stable state.
Skills
Education
- To participate in the development, maintenance and support of application and platform software products and components;
- Translating business requirements into technical and system specifications;
- Designing, developing and testing software and systems;
- Enhancing and maintaining software and systems to a healthy and stable state.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent;
- Knowledgeable in Shell scripting on UNIX platforms;
- Knowledgeable in Databases (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Hbase, Apache Druid, Apache Ignite, Neo4j).
