Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to lead ERP enhancements and oversee deployment tasks. Responsibilities include understanding operational needs, managing SDLC processes, and establishing documentation. Candidates must have compulsory experience in Ms Access, SSRS, VBA, SQL, Power Query, and Power Pivot, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities

Able to understand the operation and management requirement.

Provide the industrial best practice and present working proposal to stakeholder in BRD and SIT level.

Lead and drive the SDLC processes, able to communicate with project sponsor and stakeholder.

Complete the whole deployment task within the time given, including BRD, SIT, UAT, installation, training and live implementation.

Establish technical, support and end-user documentation after completion of software development.

Develop the deployment roadmap for ERP enhancement, in-house development software and database to integrate with vendor database.

Able to communicate with vendor for integration requirement and sourcing for new technology required.

Able to travel and provide onsite support primarily in Prai, and occasionally at Penang Island, Bukit Minyak and Batu Kawan.

Qualifications

• Compulsory experience in Ms Access, SSRS, VBA, SQL, Power Query and Power Pivot.


• Knowledge of Web development, Power BI, Data Governance, Microsoft SQL database, C#, ERP system and System Integration.


• Preferably Degree in Computer Studies.


• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.


• Good foundation knowledge of ERP and MES will be an added advantage.


• Knowledge of Epicor ERP system is a plus.


• Strong analytical, reasoning skills and problem‑solving skills with an ability to anticipate outcomes of a solution.


• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment.


• Able to work under constraints of resources and short deadline.
