Ked Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our state‑of‑the‑art electrical and electronic cleaning machine engineering solutions. This full‑time position is based in Melaka, Malaysia, offering you the opportunity to work in a vibrant and collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing on‑site technical support and troubleshooting to customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our products and systems
• Conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and seminars to educate customers on the effective use of our engineering solutions
• Collaborating with the engineering and sales teams to address complex technical issues and develop customized solutions
• Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and technical support activities
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and electronic engineering

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a field application engineering or technical support role within the engineering industry
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and cross‑functional teams
• Able to work independently
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify and implement innovative solutions
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (mainly central and southern Malaysia). Required to come to Penang Branch Office for work meeting or training purposes
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
