Job summary
A reputable tax consultancy firm is seeking a talented Tax Associate to provide comprehensive tax support and compliance services. Based in Penang, you will prepare tax computations, file returns, and manage tax audits. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and strong communication skills. Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting and/or professional qualification is required.

- For senior positions, a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing tax computation and filing of tax returns.
- Monitor and administer routine tax compliance requirements.
- Handle all tax correspondence matters, including audits.
- Collaborate with the tax team for compliance.
- Provide administrative support like document management.
- Participate in tax planning and advisory activities.

We are seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our team at Liang & Associates. As a full-time Tax Associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax support and compliance services to our diverse client base. This role is based on Penang Island, Penang.
- Assist the senior in preparing tax computation and filing of tax returns for individual and corporate clients;
- Monitoring and administer routine tax compliance requirement (e.g. tax estimates (CP204), revision of tax (CP204A) and provisional tax computation;
- Handling all tax correspondence matters including Desk audit, PCB Audit, Tax Audit; and
- Collaborating with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance for our clients
- Providing administrative support, such as document management and client communication
- Participating in tax planning and advisory activities to support our clients' financial objectives
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting and /or professional qualification
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Senior position required at least 3 years relevant working experiences
- Able to work independently
- Strong communication skill and able to work as a team
- Possess good interpersonal skill and able to work under tight schedule
