Quality NPI Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor, improve and maintain good NPI product yield and quality that meet customer requirement with zero quality issue escapee.
• A process owner of PFMEA and PCP, facilitate and support new product PFMEA and PCP completion to share to customer.
• Monitor, highlight & gate the potential NPI quality risk to NPI team and area owner.
• Responsible to set up NPI product parameter control limit in the system by well know about the product parameter type, control limit set up criteria/procedure and periodically review and update it.
• Good facilitator/coordinator and able to communicate well with different functional team to succeed the NPI quality tasks.
• Facilitate and support new product PFMEA and PCP completion and good management of the documentation requirement.
• Support on quality system and process audit when required and be key auditee representing NPI Quality.
• Plan, arrange, review NPI product reliability plan and reliability sample submission internally and externally to meet customer requirements.
• Supervise and Coach NPI QEs/ technician; plan, coordinate and follow up daily NPI quality activities.
• Main contact person representing NPI Quality Engineering team to liaise and to make quality mindset-oriented decision for NPI matter with other functional department like TD, NPI, Production, etc.
• Support others task assigned by superior which may beyond the R&R above if any.

Your Profile

• Possess bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering or sciences field or equivalent.
• Preferable min 10 years working experience with min 3 years in people management role in NPI Quality Control or Process engineering or similar field in Electronics, PCB or Semiconductor Industries.
• Work experience in PCB industry would be added advantages
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PPT).
• General knowledge in problem solving and analytical skill.
• Knowledge & experience in ISO90001 qualify audit/VDA6.3/6.5 audit; SPC; Statistic tool JMP or Minitab; FMEA; Control Plan; MSA.
• Strong quality mindset, Independent, good communication and team work orientated person.
• Ability to work under pressure
