Job description
Senior Executive – Quality & Risk Management

Assist the Director in ensuring that the structure and processes needed for the quality, safety, risk and health care management system are established, maintained and implemented for SJMC.

Undertake accreditation and quality initiatives, performance measurement improvement, audits, risk management as due in conjunction with the Director’s vision.

Develop and implement the clinical quality assurance and compliance function in the organization.

Conduct trainings to equip staff with the knowledge in the use of quality improvement tools.

Conduct review of Clinical Incidents to support Clinical Risk Management activities using root cause analysis and system analysis tools to analyze actual and potential risks in the institution. Conduct root cause analysis, sentinel event review, failure mode effects analysis and assures that policies, programs and procedures are current with best practice and staff are educated accordingly.

Assist the Director in coordinating and planning for the Internal Audit and activities to gauge the performance of the quality and health care management system Liaise with ESH Laboratory audit team in overall audit planning and implementation plan.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy or other related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Lean, PDSA, 5S, FMEA and 7QC Tools.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards e.g. MSQH , JCI and ACHS.
  • Have strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and good team player.
