Responsibilities

• Link the supplier organization with the strategic objectives of the customer
  • Align incoming material quality towards customer requirements and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate for setting up, reviewing or revising Service Level Agreement with supplier.
  • Comply with safety, company and 5S regulations at the workplace.
• Set up, Maintain and/or Improve Supplier Quality Management System
  • Define incoming material qualification flow and handling method.
  • Define inspection, measurement and other requirements for incoming inspection.
  • Prompt feedback to supplier on non-conformance found during incoming, follow up on the CAPA effectiveness.
  • Monitor and drive for suppliers’ quality improvement.
• Align inspection and measurement capability
  • Review new enquiry drawings, study the measurement and inspection capability before accepting the order.
  • Establish the Process Management Plan if required.
  • Study or coordinate for adequate measurement and inspection method during First Article sample submission.
  • Perform cosmetics, dimension or other requirement correlation study with critical suppliers if required.
• Supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, design and conduct supplier audit
  • Compile, analyze and provide feedback to supplier on monthly supplier’s performance trend, quality issue breaks down, supplier’s IR quality, CAPA effectiveness and response time. Monitor for supplier process improvement.
  • Coordinate for critical suppliers’ self-assessment or on-site audit.
  • Constantly striving for competitive analysis.
  • Whenever necessary, plan and perform failure analysis on customer returned parts. Liaise with supplier for root cause analysis using 8D approach and other quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Decision making for MRB disposition of WIP, Finished Goods Stock, in-transit and internal stock based on statistical analysis.
  • Communicating the root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions to customers promptly via various channels, including visiting customers whenever necessary.
• Resources Management for Incoming Material-related Blue Collars
  • Assist QA in assessing jobs to be done, plan for necessary resources, and define job descriptions for supervisors and workers.
  • Accomplishes quality assurance human resource objectives by selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, and communicating job expectations at respective areas.
  • Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Analyze the strategic link based on company visions, missions and goals, and plan for IQC strategies, projects and activities.
  • Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
• Trains Incoming Material-related Blue Collars
  • Establish, review and revise JBS, work instruction and procedure promptly.
  • Train and qualify or re‑qualify supervisors or inspectors.
• Others
  • Communicate or documents translation between customer and supplier if needed.
  • Work towards common direction to achieve department KPI.
  • Assist in customer/supplier audit preparation, line support and statistical process controls monitoring.
  • Any other projects or tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
