THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will work on assigned projects and events performing end-to-end planning and execution of full spectrum marketing activities. This includes, but is not limited to, copy/content writing for various personalised messaging and channels, social media management, digital marketing, and analytics/reporting.

Additionally, this role encompasses project marketing and management responsibilities, ensuring the successful delivery of project marketing from inception to completion.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager, APAC and will play a critical role in driving the success of marketing initiatives. As a member of the team, you’ll help design and deliver campaigns that showcase technical excellence, foster connections, and expand SPE’s reach in the region.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE IN THIS ROLE
  • Strategy development: Execute integrated marketing plans in collaboration with/support of the Marketing Manager to engage diverse audiences across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Content-driven marketing: Identify, craft, personalise, repurpose, and proofread engaging content in various channels including emails, website content, brochures and social media.
  • Digital marketing: Implement digital marketing strategies including SEO/SEM optimisation, PPC advertising and social media advertising.
  • Campaign analytics: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of implemented activities, recommending and implementing tactical changes, and driving actionable insights based on campaigns performance.
  • Project marketing excellence: Align campaigns with event and project goals, KPIs, and timelines—ensuring marketing contributes directly to commercial and audience outcomes.
  • Leverage technology and tools: marketing systems, software and platforms to deliver on marketing KPIs
  • Manage multiple projects: Adapt strategies and tactics to meet evolving project needs and market dynamics in a deadline-driven environment
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of B2B/B2C marketing experience encompassing traditional and digital marketing, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience managing/developing social media campaigns
  • Up to date with the latest marketing trends
  • Digitally savvy with strong knowledge of digital marketing and analytics across various platforms
  • Adept at using multiple software and systems: CMS, EMS, CRM, ad platforms, Google Analytics, AI-based software
  • Knowledge in Canva and Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Experience in event marketing is a plus
  • Excellent command of the English language is compulsory; written and spoken ability in a second language in either Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
