IT Technical Analyst (Automotive Finance domain)
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Technical Analyst with at least 7 years in the field, preferably with experience in the automotive finance domain. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, document technical specifications, and manage comprehensive testing activities to ensure project success. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with project management tools like Confluence and Jira are essential for this role, which offers the opportunity to collaborate across various teams in a critical project implementation.

We are seeking for an experienced IT Technical Analyst with a strong background in the automotive finance domain to join our team to support ROTF (Retail of The Future) implementation for Japan and Korea. The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and facilitating the implementation of ROTF (Retail of The Future).
- Collaborate with market stakeholders, including Operations, Accounting, Sales and Marketing professionals, to gather and document business requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including user stories and functional requirements documents.
- Work closely with Application Teams developers and other IT professionals to ensure that IT solutions meet the needs of our ROTF requirements.
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release delivery and prepare a Test Plan. Manage various testing activities, such as SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Penetration Testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of IT solutions in accordance with project timelines and objectives. Identify end goals for Japan and Korea, monitor test results to ensure quality, define best practices, and coordinate execution of test cases to validate IT solutions against functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact delivery or project timelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement timely resolutions.
- Min. 7 years of professional experience in IT Business/Technical Analyst or equivalent areas.
- Superior experience with modern project management tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira) as well as MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with agile working methodologies (i.e. Scrum, SAFe) is critical.
- Plan and give daily/weekly updates on the release activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and senior management.
