Hello! We are looking for the best Talent to fill this permanent position for our most important client.

Gross salary offered for the role is ARS 3,500,000 / 5,500,000 (depending on candidate's experience). As a benefit, the role includes the OSDE 210 family health plan. The company also typically provides a year-end bonus for all personnel, ranging from half to one salary.

Key qualities for successful candidates include a strong aptitude for learning, leadership skills, and experience in a similar industry.

This position will be filled in January 2025. Candidates should be aware that upon joining, they will need to travel to Italy for 3 to 6 months for training.

Role : Production Manager

The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate all internal production, painting, logistics, warehouse, and maintenance departments to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of customer orders with optimal resource and cost management.

Activities include :

• Supervising department managers and developing their skills.
• Collaborating with sales and production planning to define delivery schedules.
• Handling exceptional requests and coordinating extraordinary activities.
• Deciding on make or buy strategies, industrialization, and technical changes.
• Adjusting schedules based on feedback from line managers.
• Managing shift and personnel scheduling, including temporary workers.
• Coordinating with purchasing on raw material arrivals and contingencies.
• Leading continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Managing maintenance, production stoppages, and liaising with external suppliers for equipment and mold work.
• Sharing production plans with the commercial department to ensure service levels.
• Planning and prioritizing operations across multiple product lines.
• Determining staffing, equipment, and raw material needs.
• Assigning workers, scheduling shifts, and monitoring job progress.
• Addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Reporting on output, defect rates, and performance.
• Collaborating with quality control, warehouse, and other teams.
• Leading shopfloor kaizen activities and maintaining ISO 9001 procedures.

Work Experience Requirements :

• Proven experience as a production manager in multinational or complex / modern companies, especially in the mechanical sector.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Experience with production techniques in the metalworking industry.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods and MRP II systems.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Technical knowledge, including technical drawing and ERP systems.
• High cost sensitivity, flexibility, adaptability, and result orientation.

Industry Experience :

Manufacturing, Sheet Metal Working, Stamping, Roll Forming, Welding, Painting.

Formal Education :

High school diploma required; further education or certification, such as an Engineering degree, preferred.

Language Skills :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to work in international teams.

Travel :

Willingness to undertake a six-month training in Italy at headquarters.
