Job description

Our client is the leading international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, with customers in more than 150 countries.

About the role:

Reporting to the National Manager Sales Project, this position is responsible for presenting and promoting the assigned product ranges and sales channels in designated territories. The role involves creating brand awareness among targeted customer groups and consulting on our values and solutions to secure deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling the company's products to achieve individual targets on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis based on personal KPIs.
  • Aligning with defined-channel customer groups to promote and create brand awareness for the company's brands and assigned products in the assigned territories.
  • Cultivating, developing, and managing assigned-channel customers.
  • Constructively handing over full information of non-assigned customers to other sales representatives and/or sales channels.
  • Building strong relationships with all related parties, understanding customer demands and technical/commercial needs, and presenting our products accordingly.
  • Studying the competition of each specific customer and preparing win-win quotes for customized solutions in compliance with the direction of the Sales Supervisor.
  • Generating technical and commercial support where needed, securing potential opportunities, and negotiating contracts and/or sales orders.
  • Liaising with related departments (Supply Chain, Product Management, Specifier, Finance, Marketing, Sales Admin) to obtain support for customer needs.
  • Monitoring, following up, and reporting the progress of customer requirements to all stakeholders.
  • Listing and reporting on defining potential customers (including market info, progress, problems, solutions, and results) to the direct superior.
  • Maintaining professionalism by wearing the company's uniform and embodying the company's values.
  • Following company regulations.

Qualifications:

  • University graduation, preferably in engineering, management, business administration, or relevant fields.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in distribution or dealer sales.
  • Solid experience in architectural hardware, furniture fitting, home appliances, sanitary, or related fields is a plus, preferably from a building materials company.
  • Good networks with decision-makers of carpenter contractors, furniture manufacturers, and interior material dealers.
  • Customer-oriented with a smart, outgoing, sales-driven attitude and a high sense of urgency.
  • Conceptual understanding of interior design and brand positioning.
  • Able to work independently and under high pressure.
  • Good presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy (MS Office, CRM Software).
