A leading engineering company in Batam is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing and strong technical skills. Fresh graduates may be considered. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good understanding of industrial processes, with knowledge of CAD software as an advantage.

Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
Bachelor’s degree (S1) is an advantage.
1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing, production engineering, oil & gas manufacturing, or similar technical field.
Fresh graduates with strong technical skills may also be considered.
- Good understanding of industrial process flow, machinery operation, and production parameters.
- Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID, and technical documents.
- Familiar with process monitoring tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and data logging.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
- Experience with process optimization, cycle‑time reduction, and defect reduction is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data analysis (Excel formulas, charts, pivot tables).
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- Ability to use digital forms, ERP/MES systems, or process monitoring software is a plus.
