Job description

At PINTU, we are building the #1 crypto investment platform to help new investors in Indonesia and Southeast Asia learn, invest, and sell cryptocurrencies in one click.

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to elevate our mobile engineering standards. As the architect behind our core logic, you will own the app’s observability and mentor the wider team while bridging the gap between Native and React Native for performance and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Observability & Stability: Own the “health” of the mobile app. Implement detailed monitoring (logging, crash reporting, performance tracing) to proactively identify issues, reduce crash rates, and improve startup times.
• Core Library Architecture: Architect and maintain the foundational logic libraries (SDKs, networking, data processing, etc.) that power our features; ensure these libraries are robust, documented, and reusable.
• Engineering Quality: Increase the overall quality of frontend engineering. This includes automated testing, streamlined CI/CD pipelines, and vigorous code reviews.
• The Bridge: Work across the stack, exposing high‑performance Kotlin modules to the React Native layer.

Who We Are Looking For

We are open to two types of profiles for this role:

Profile A: The Android Native Specialist

• Deep expertise in Kotlin (Android).
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Arch) and threading.
• Requirement: A willingness to learn React Native and work in a hybrid codebase.

Profile B: The React Native Expert

• Deep expertise in React Native (TypeScript) and its internals (New Architecture, Bridging).
• Requirement: Proven experience writing custom Native Modules in Kotlin/Java or Swift/Obj‑C.

General Requirements (Must Have for Both Profiles)
