Job summary

A leading engineering company in Batam is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing and strong technical skills. Fresh graduates may be considered. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good understanding of industrial processes, with knowledge of CAD software as an advantage.

1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing, production engineering, oil & gas manufacturing, or similar technical field.

Fresh graduates with strong technical skills may also be considered.

Technical Skill

• Good understanding of industrial process flow, machinery operation, and production parameters.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID, and technical documents.
• Familiar with process monitoring tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and data logging.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Experience with process optimization, cycle‑time reduction, and defect reduction is a plus.

Software Skill

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with data analysis (Excel formulas, charts, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) is an advantage.
• Ability to use digital forms, ERP/MES systems, or process monitoring software is a plus.
