A logistics firm in Colchester is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to handle deliveries and stock management. This role requires a full UK driving licence and flexibility. The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse settings. Responsibilities include packing products, delivering orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a busy environment.

A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.
Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.
- Driver: Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
- Driver: Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Driver: Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
- Driver: Unload goods as per client specifications
- Driver: Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
- Driver: Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
- Warehouse Operative: Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
- Warehouse Operative: Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
- Warehouse Operative: Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
- Warehouse Operative: Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
- Warehouse Operative: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Flexible
