A UK university is seeking part-time Dissertation Supervisors in Business & Tourism to guide students through the dissertation process. Candidates should hold a Master's degree and have experience in dissertation supervision and working with students from diverse backgrounds. Formación
Qualified to at least a Masters Level degree in a related discipline area.
Demonstrable experience in academic research and dissertation supervision.
Experience of working in Higher Education.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsabilidades
Support students in defining and refining their research questions.
Guide students in conducting literature reviews and sourcing materials.
Provide structured feedback on dissertation drafts.
Maintain regular contact with assigned students.
Promote inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Conocimientos
Experience in academic research
Strong interpersonal skills
Communication skills
Knowledge of research ethics
Good IT skills (Microsoft packages)
