Radius is seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager / Readiness Service Implementation Manager with extensive experience working within a data centre environment, whether from a data centre or MSP.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of functional tasks related to the successful and timely service delivery of Co-Lo and PWR activities. This includes managing the delivery of all work orders and footprint activities to meet customer expectations, adhere to SLAs, and enhance the overall customer experience by aligning with our Operational Excellence objectives for the upcoming year.
The focus is on setting high standards, managing contractors and suppliers to meet KPIs, adopting a best-in-class approach, and driving the organization towards a 5-star data centre.
The role involves close collaboration with the Service Installation Supervisor, providing mentoring and coaching to ensure that Specialist Services are delivered effectively on the front line, enabling the SDM CoLo Installations team to meet KPI and RFS objectives.
Project Management:
Identify and manage resources needed for planning, development, and delivery of services, primarily rack and cage installations, with secondary support to the PWR team. Engage with and influence senior stakeholders and project teams through change management processes, ensuring infrastructure management to provide agreed service levels and data integrity.
Requirements Definition and Management:
Plan and drive scoping and prioritization of activities for large, complex initiatives within service delivery, primarily rack and cage projects, and secondarily support to the power team. Obtain input and formal agreement on requirements from stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering, Delivery, and Security.
Commercial Support:
Collaborate with the Service Delivery Team and Supervisor to provide RFP and RFI responses from the Colo Installations Team to support winning new business.
Service Acceptance:
Coordinate with Sales, Sales Planning, Admin, Engineering, DC Operations, or Project Management Office to ensure that sold products are deliverable and supportable moving forward.
Additional responsibilities include managing contractors and suppliers, understanding DC operations, and possessing expertise in at least two disciplines such as Electrical, Optical, Connectivity, Colocation, Health & Safety, Project Management, raised floor systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, or access control.
