FILM AND SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (FSSS)
Our newest division capitalizes on emerging trends in displays and in-mold electronics in the automotive industry. It combines our extensive offering of specialty films for the industrial and automotive sectors with our developing portfolio of conductive and non-conductive inks. These products enable the creation of formed, structurally rigid three-dimensional parts that are decorative with circuit pathways and enhanced electronic features, facilitating the human-machine interface in automobiles.

We are seeking a general maintenance technician to provide support at the Wantage manufacturing site. The role focuses on handling, collection, and disposal of waste materials, along with basic maintenance tasks as required.

This is a part-time position – 2 or 3 days per week, working from 8 am to 4 pm, with a schedule of Wednesday to Friday.

• Completing delegated and reactive maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure high standards of site maintenance.
• Collecting, transporting, and processing waste materials across the site in compliance with Health and Safety standards.
• Emptying external litter and recycling bins daily and maintaining designated areas as needed.
• Performing daily inspections and general maintenance of specified equipment, with appropriate remedial actions.
• Assisting with grounds maintenance, including litter picking and rubbish removal.
• Reporting safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor for prompt action.
• Gaining thorough knowledge of the Wantage site.
• Carrying out tasks related to maintenance, waste, and recycling, following training and instructions to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promoting and prioritizing Health and Safety within the maintenance team, completing all required training modules punctually.
• Providing support during severe weather conditions, such as snow clearance or gritting, as directed by the supervisor.

A forklift truck license would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Previous experience in a similar role or within a trade is desirable.
