Senior / Associate MEP Cost Manager - Data Centres
London preferred, but flexible - office/site/hybrid
£65-90k DOE

Kenton Black International is supporting a leading consultancy in their search for a Data Centre experienced MEP cost professional.

The successful candidate will lead UK and European Data Centre construction projects and support the business's growth.

We seek candidates with a proven track record in cost management, quantity surveying, or scheduling across project lifecycles. A consultancy background and experience in Data Centre projects are preferred, but candidates with experience in high-tech manufacturing projects like battery giga plants or semiconductor plants are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

1. Pre and post-contract duties: cost estimates, RFPs, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variation management, final accounts.
2. Feasibility studies and procurement reports.
3. Estimating and cost planning, including final cost plan presentation.
4. Tendering and procurement activities: managing pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, analysis, reports, and contractual documents.
5. Cost checks and valuations, timely and accurate.
6. Monthly post-contract cost reports and client presentations.
7. Engaging with clients and consultants at all project stages.
8. Managing cost variances, change control, and risk analysis; supporting value engineering; final account negotiations.
9. Contributing to best practices in cost estimating based on feedback and project experiences.
