An influential organisation is seeking a Financial Accounting & Control Manager to lead financial operations including statutory accounts, tax compliance, and team development. The successful candidate must have a CCAB-qualified accountancy qualification and experience in the charity sector. This role, offering a salary between £53,623 and £62,629 plus an allowance, balances office presence and remote work, and aims to make a real difference to children's lives.
Formación
Experience in a complex financial environment.
Experience producing consolidated statutory accounts and managing external audits, ideally within the charity sector.
Proven experience in implementing, documenting, and enforcing financial controls.
Experience managing, developing, and motivating a small team.
Responsabilidades
Lead the production of consolidated statutory accounts for NSPCC and its subsidiaries.
Implement and enforce internal financial controls to ensure integrity of ledger and reporting.
Manage VAT, direct tax, and corporate tax compliance.
Oversee cash flow monitoring and treasury management.
Critically evaluate and improve financial processes.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants and Finance Officers.
