Job summary

- Oversee the full HR function across one or both school sites
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, policies, and procedures
- Lead on recruitment and safer recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
- Manage absence, performance management, disciplinaries, and grievances
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, safeguarding, and education regulations
- Advise senior leaders and governors on HR strategy and workforce planning
- Maintain accurate HR records and liaise with payroll providers as required
- Recognised HR qualification (CIPD Level 5 or above - essential)
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally within schools or a public-sector environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law and education HR processes
- Confident communicator able to advise senior leaders professionally
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities across multiple settings
