Are you passionate about shaping people strategy? Do you thrive on driving engagement and building strong teams? Ready to lead HR for two major brands?

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee our two sites in Brighouse and Leeds on our Morrisons and Nutmeg sites. You’ll lead the design and delivery of a holistic, integrated HR service across two key sites. You’ll drive the People Plan, ensure compliance, and create a culture where leadership standards and employee engagement thrive.

This is a full‑time, permanent role. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Delivering a comprehensive People Plan aligned to business objectives
  • Driving leadership development, succession planning, and capability building
  • Providing expert advice on employee relations, employment law, and change management
  • Supporting recruitment, resourcing, and TUPE activities
  • Championing engagement initiatives and communication strategies
  • Managing HR service measures including absence, recruitment lead times, and budget
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified with strong HR/OD expertise

  • Proven experience in employee relations and change management
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
