The Opportunity

The PR & Advocacy Manager (Local Market) plays a pivotal role in executing and managing our PR & Advocacy programs and initiatives at the local level on key social platforms: TikTok & Instagram. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a proactive PR and Advocacy strategy that enhances our brand image, builds strong media relationships, and supports key business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across all channels for brands including Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Carolina Herrera.

What you'll get to do

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the company's goals and brand identities for Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Carolina Herrera.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and industry professionals.
  3. Craft compelling press releases, media kits, speeches, and other PR materials.
  4. Manage crisis communications and act as a company spokesperson when needed.
  5. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights.
  6. Oversee PR events such as press conferences, product launches, and media tours.
  7. Collaborate with marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
  8. Manage PR agencies and external partners to ensure alignment with objectives and brand voice.
  9. Evaluate PR campaign effectiveness through media analytics and KPIs (e.g., coverage volume, sentiment, engagement).
  10. Tailor and execute global advocacy strategies to suit specific local markets.
  11. Create focused advocacy campaigns that boost brand visibility and deepen customer loyalty.
  12. Work closely with cross-functional teams—such as PR, Social Media, Events, E-Commerce, and Marketing—to synchronize advocacy efforts and ensure a cohesive brand voice across all platforms.
  13. Share insights and results from local campaigns with global teams to inform the ongoing development of broader advocacy strategies.
  14. Craft concise and culturally relevant creative briefs to steer advocacy efforts, ensuring they align with global direction while resonating with local audiences.
  15. Localise global toolkits to equip advocates with practical resources, including campaign messaging, brand narratives, product features, and activation plans tailored to regional needs.
  16. Collect feedback on toolkit use and advocate-led activities to continuously improve resources and enhance future initiatives.
  17. Measure and report advocacy performance using key indicators such as Earned Media Value (EMV), engagement levels, view counts, and return on investment (ROI).
  18. Deliver holistic advocacy programs aimed at cultivating strong, long-term relationships with advocates at all levels.
  19. Plan and execute engaging activities—like curated product experiences, exclusive events, and collaborative opportunities—to build enthusiasm and loyalty among advocates.
  20. Design advocacy programs with structured engagement and reward mechanisms that encourage consistent participation, authentic storytelling, and organic brand promotion throughout the program lifecycle.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Experience in PR & advocacy, influencer marketing, community management, or consumer engagement roles within luxury beauty, fashion, or premium lifestyle industries.
  • Strong media contacts and proven ability to secure media coverage.
  • Influencer Marketing Skills: Strong experience working with top advocates, influencers, and opinion leaders to drive engagement, content creation, and organic amplification.
  • Social Media knowledge: Deep understanding of the key platforms' dynamics and latest evolution, primarily TikTok and Instagram. Strong social community management skills to drive brand love & business.
  • Proven ability to craft detailed creative briefs and adapt global assets into locally relevant, high-impact content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
