Job summary
A children's safeguarding organization in Northampton seeks an Advanced Practitioner for its Safeguarding Team. The successful candidate will provide support to social workers, lead on complex cases, and mentor newly qualified practitioners. They will be responsible for ensuring high standards of practice and adherence to legislation. Strong leadership and extensive experience in safeguarding are essential. Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.

- Lead on complex cases and ensure high standards of practice.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.

- Mentor and support newly qualified and less experienced social workers.
- Work closely with your Team Manager and support the team in their absence.
- Be a key player in safeguarding vulnerable children and planning for permanence.
- Ensure adherence to legislation, guidance, and best practice.
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post‑qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage complex cases and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
