Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to join a top UK food manufacturing company. The role involves repairing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with F-Gas Certification and possess experience in the field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified with F-Gas Certification.
- Experience in Air Conditioning, Freezer/Refrigerator Technician.
- Ability to demonstrate good understanding of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
Responsibilities
- Repair & Maintenance of A/C, chiller and freezers.
- Attend reactive service calls on a variety of air conditioning units.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigerant units.

Refrigeration Engineer - Food Manufacturing
We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies, supplying a wide range of products to both retailers and the foodservice sector.
Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
- Repair & Maintenance of A/C, chiller and freezers.
- Mechanical and Electrical work knowledge for Refrigerant.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient installation.
- Able to be repair and fault finding.
- Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
- Attend reactive service calls on a variety of air conditioning units including splits, ASHP and VRF systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on refrigerant unit, ASHP and ventilation units.
- Installation of air conditioning systems.
- Fully qualified with F-Gas Certification
- Experience in Air Conditioning, Freezer/ Refrigerator Technician
- Having leadership abilities
- Being practical
- Having good written and spoken communication skills
- Having interpersonal abilities
- Being aware of safety issues
- Being able to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of ventilation installation would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps would be an advantage
