As the Area Sales Manager for Viscofan, you will be key to the business’s growth by creating, managing, and expanding relationships. Ideally, you will have a background in selling solutions into the food production sector or some experience within the food industry.

The Business:

With a history spanning over 50 years, Viscofan is the world’s market leader in its product portfolio for the food production sector. They are known for delivering high-quality products and excellent service levels, maintaining a strong reputation among major food businesses across the UK. You will have the flexibility to plan and manage your working day as you see fit. Your role will involve building high-level relationships with key customers to cross-sell, upsell, and increase turnover and commitment from major food production companies.

What You Will Do:

You will support the Head of Sales in developing new product streams with existing customers and in acquiring new customer relationships. This is a home-based role requiring regular customer visits across the country. We seek an ambitious, commercially savvy candidate who is a self-starter, motivated, and eager to learn new skills, even though you will have support from colleagues.

  • Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions
  • Draft and review contracts
  • Develop and sustain strong internal relationships, including with overseas offices
