PURPOSE STATEMENT
Lead the Food Service Distributors channel across the UK and internationally where appropriate, depending on the nature of the contract. This role has P&L accountability for all production competencies of Rich products, including those available from other markets across customer brands and branded business. Deliver a set of sales and profit KPIs and share recordably. This role is responsible for market strategy, commercial choices, and overall delivery of the business unit, ensuring the right approach is taken across channels.
Key Accountabilities/Outcomes
- Design, execute, and deliver the UK strategy for growth across the UK food service network (internationally if required), as well as creating new routes to market and delivery for our total portfolio across Bakery, TCCS, Pizza.
- Support growth in Food Service where there is F’real opportunity, working with the BU Head F’real to build and deliver the right commercial approach.
- Create and implement the go-to-market strategy across all customers in Food Service, delivering a clear return and leading customer delivery against agreed AOP targets.
- Build customer and market insights with the cross-functional team to deliver short and long-term strategies aligned with customer AOP.
- Create leads and targets in partnership with the Customer Development Manager to 'hunt' and 'farm' customers to meet AOP agreements.
- Lead the cross-functional business team, delivering outcomes across all areas of responsibility and building a high-performing team.
- Develop a multi-level cross-functional contact strategy across customers and between the Head of and Customer teams to ensure full portfolio delivery.
- Be the market leader in understanding competitors, their advantages, and counteracting their market approach.
- Build a 'trusted partnership' strategy that solves customer problems and delivers value for Rich’s.
- Be recognized as the best in market custodian of our total portfolio.
