Arbour Vale School is a special school in Slough for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of educational needs. With over 300 pupils on roll, it is one of the largest special schools in the country and meets the needs of children and young people with moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs as well pupils with autism.
The school is purpose built with specialist facilities including a dedicated nursery and post-16 base, soft-play area, hydrotherapy pool, multi-sensory room, a newly refurbished library, well-equipped IT suite, dedicated music room and large sports hall.

The Postholder, supporting the Business Manager and HR Officer, providing comprehensive administrative support across Finance and HR functions, ensuring effective operations related to staff management, absence processes, resource procurement, and compliance with organisational policies. The postholder acts as a central coordination point for accurate record-keeping, communication, and procedural follow-through departments.
The specific responsibility of this post is working during term time only.
