General Description
Noa Girls provides practical, emotional and therapeutic support to adolescent girls in the Orthodox Jewish community. The position of administrative assistant provides an exciting opportunity to join the Noa family as part of the busy, vibrant operations team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Operations
- Overseeing house management, ensuring office stocks are maintained and ensuring rooms are well equipped
- Putting systems in place to ensure supplies are kept neat and easily accessible for staff and volunteers
- Diary management; assisting staff with room bookings
- Providing support for Noa’s operational projects ie mailouts, distributions and fundraising events
- General reception duties such as answering the phones and managing voicemail
- Assisting the Mentoring Managers with volunteer management administration
- Provide operational support to the wider team, contributing to the efficient delivery of services
HR
- Responsible for organising and managing the process of DBS checks for all new employees and volunteers
- Preparing and distributing the monthly staff timetable and seasonal holiday calendars
- Responsible for creating, management and maintenance of employee records, including Noa’s HR system
- Overseeing the onboarding and induction of new staff
- Supporting the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records management
Person Specification
Personal Attributes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong team player with a willingness to learn
- Flexible and willing to help out in other areas when necessary
Knowledge and Experience
- IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good level of numeracy

- This role may require some work in the evenings and at weekends.
