A rail freight maintenance specialist in the UK is looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, and performing brake testing on freight wagons. The position offers a competitive salary starting at £33,500 with the potential to rise to £39,000 after three months, alongside benefits such as a company van and fuel card and opportunities for career progression. Candidates should have relevant experience and a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering.

Salary: £33,500 (rising to £39, after 3 months).
