Position Overview:

As a Commis Chef at Thorpe Park, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment. From assisting with food preparation to supporting the kitchen team in delivering delicious dishes, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests leave with smiles on their faces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Contributing ideas for new dishes and menu items.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the other chefs regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• A passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Due to the nature of this role you must be over 18.
