Location: Clacton

Salary: £21 Per hour

Working Days: Monday-Friday

The company:

You will be joining a well-known large service-providing company within their maintenance depot, tasked with being hands-on in fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of large vehicles. Offering a very competitive salary, a mix of benefits, and a progressive work environment, this is a great opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician or similar.

Job responsibilities:

• Diagnosis, repair, and regular servicing of company vehicles
• Preparing vehicles for annual testing
• Processing vehicle defect cards and all legal paperwork in line with company and DVSA guidelines
• Complying with all Health and Safety & Environmental legislation
• Maintaining and developing technical skills and attending training courses as required

Note: This list is a summary; other responsibilities and tasks may be required.

Skills and Experience required:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Heavy Vehicles)
• Some health and safety experience is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment is beneficial
• Confidence and motivation to progress in health and safety career
