Commercial Finance Manager | Trafford (Hybrid) | £60,000 - £65,000 | High growth SME

Axon Moore have partnered with a cash rich, fast growing business in the Trafford area who have created a new role for qualified Commercial Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

The business have opened up several new divisions, and have exciting plans to double turnover year-on-year for the next 3-5 years with a view to future IPO or PE investment.

Reporting into the Group Head of FP&A with a dotted line to the FD, you will be responsible for:

1. Create annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and multi-year financial models
2. Business Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial implications are considered in business strategies
3. Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and potential M&A activities
4. Provide financial insights to support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
5. Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
6. Prepare and deliver detailed management reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and dashboard metrics
7. Collaborate with business units to optimise financial outcomes and drive accountability
8. Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team and across departments
9. Ensure continuous improvement of FP&A tools, processes, and methodologies
10. Enhance financial planning systems and tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy
11. Leverage business intelligence and analytics platforms to deliver real-time insights

Person specification:

1. CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
2. Proactive, confident communicator with an ability to challenge stakeholders
3. Ability to work in a fast growing, fast paced business
