You will be joining the growth tribe, where we believe that long term learning commitment starts with a great connection with a tutor. Unlike traditional eCommerce sites that focus on quick transactions, our approach is built on creating long term relationships between learners and tutors. This requires a deep understanding of customer behavior, a 360 view of the marketplace dynamics, a creative problem-solving mindset, and the ability to balance short-term wins with long-term outcomes.

The specific team you will join will depend on your unique strengths and interests, but your overarching mission will be the same: to foster strong, long-term relationships between learners and tutors.

What you’ll be doing :

You will own one of the most challenging and rewarding areas of our business: Helping our learners find that one tutor that will help them achieve their goals.

This requires a deep understanding of customer behavior, a 360 view of the marketplace dynamics, a creative problem-solving mindset, and the ability to balance short-term wins with long-term outcomes.

• Re-invent how learners find their perfect tutor: Transform our matching experience by deeply understanding learners’ motivations and barriers. Craft a loveable, intuitive, supportive, and inspiring journey that connects learners with the right tutor to meet their unique goals.
• Personalize the experience: Leverage cutting-edge technologies like ML and LLMs to build a highly tailored, curated experience that ensures every learner feels understood and supported in their learning journey.
• Empower tutors: Develop tools and features that help tutors showcase their strengths and connect with the right learners. Think holistically about the needs of both learners and tutors to create a balanced, thriving marketplace. Build empathy for our tutors & learners by talking to them to understand their deepest problems and needs.
• Be an owner: Own features end-to-end including defining product requirements based on deep customer empathy, driving execution, making thoughtful product decisions and sharing insights and results throughout the company.
• Be biased for action: Balance strategy and developing conviction with quick and lean hypotheses testing to launch MVPs and iterate based on usage and feedback.
• Be data driven: Analyze and make nuanced use of data through our in-house tools to evaluate the business impact of new features and experiences.
• Be a leader: Inspire the team with a vision and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life. Become an authority on your product area and identify areas of opportunity through deep customer insight, research, and data.

What you need to succeed :

• Substantial experience in product management, preferably in marketplaces.
• Experience in being a hands-on leader to drive results both through direct product development and through strong end-to-end thinking and execution.
• Appreciation for building deep customer empathy as a critical lever to guiding product strategy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience building a product in a fast paced, and rapid growth environment.
• Ability to support multiple initiatives at different phases of development.
• Strong eye for design and desire to create loveable experiences.
• Strong analytical abilities and live and breathe data.
