Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of those on the road to recovery? We are looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an addiction treatment center in Los Altos, CA. As part of our team, you’ll provide essential medical care to individuals in recovery and work alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Bonus incentives are available for those fluent in Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.

Position Overview:

Join a team that is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the field of addiction recovery. In this role, you will help patients navigate their recovery while working collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

Compensation:

$150,000 - $170,000 annually, plus benefits

Schedule:

Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and create personalized care plans for patients.
  2. Manage and monitor withdrawal symptoms using protocols like CIWA and COWS.
  3. Prescribe medications, including MAT, and adjust dosages as needed in collaboration with physicians.
  4. Diagnose co-occurring mental health conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
  5. Ensure accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all patients.
  6. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and counselors to enhance patient recovery outcomes.
  7. Provide ongoing support to the healthcare team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in California.
  2. Board-certified NP (FNP, ANP, or PMHNP) with an MSN degree.
  3. DEA license, NPI number, and Board of Pharmacy License.
