Job Description
Your Career: As a Senior Scale Team Consultant, you will deliver services and help grow the Palo Alto Networks services business by developing new automation-based solutions. This involves collaborating with customers, sales teams, delivery leads, and subject matter experts across our portfolio. In this dynamic role, you will empower customers to achieve secure digital transformation by creating service solutions that meet their business and technical goals. You will support technology transformations and advise on the best delivery services to maximize value within the Palo Alto Networks offerings, ensuring customers successfully leverage our solutions for large-scale changes.

Your Impact
As a part of the team, you will be responsible for:

1. Automating deployment of virtualized cybersecurity solutions in public cloud
2. Working in agile methodology and collaborating with the rest of the team (managers, Cloud/DevOps Engineers, Solution Architects, Professional Services Engineers)
3. Troubleshooting existing solutions and proposing improvements to existing systems
4. Working with customers located mainly in the US
5. Working in US working hours (less than 25% of your working time will be expected in the range of 14 - 22 pm CET)
6. Mentoring teammates and sharing knowledge

Qualifications
Your Experience:

1. Proof of 7+ years of professional, hands-on operational experience in the field of Network, DevOps or SysOps
2. Excellent knowledge of networking and cybersecurity
3. Excellent knowledge of at least one of the public clouds, including advanced cloud networking
4. Knowledge of Linux
5. Knowledge of at least one of the IaC automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM templates, etc.)
6. Understanding of SDN and VNF concepts
7. Knowledge of at least two of the following clouds: AWS, AZURE, GCP, OCI
8. Fluent in English (min B2 level)
9. Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions, and teamwork

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks solutions, Knowledge of script language (Python, Bash), Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
